Buckhurst Hill, Essex

A large Arts and Crafts house in Essex needed some internal alterations and a better relationship with the garden. Internally the lobby, kitchen and study were reorganised and a new shower room and utility room added within the existing footprint of the building. A small glass conservatory to the rear was removed to facilitate a larger, new garden room with full height folding sliding doors to create better views and access to the garden. The new space was given a pre-weathered zinc clad roof, painted metal doors and flush oak cladding on the walls.
